As some of you may already know, the Creative Arts Co-op lost its agreement with Holy Joe's and is no longer able to rent the space for its theatre division (youth camps, recitals, murder mysteries, etc.) We are currently searching to find a new home in Roane County before camp and murder mystery season are upon us. But - to date - have been unsuccessful. So, I am reaching out to the community for help in the search. The Co-op primarily works with children, but also produces community theatre and professional theatre shows (in addition to visual arts, etc.). If anyone has any suggestions or a city is interested in having a theatre outfit in town, please let me know. Please e-mail me directly, so we don't clog the web site. Thank you for your help. My e-mail is mkeisenberg@creativeartsco-op.com.
The Creative Arts Co-op closed its community theatre production of 'A Christmas Carol' Saturday, December 19, 2009. And the show was an amazing success. To those of you who joined us over the two weeks of performances - THANK YOU! To those of you who missed it, you missed a great show.
Our next show will be our murder mystery 'The Lady Luck Murders' on New Year's Eve. You can visit us at (link...). We hope to see you there!

While there is a lot going on this weekend, I just wanted to remind everyone about the interactive murder mystery happening this weekend. 'Don't Get Blood on the Popcorn' is a fun and entertaining show that offers a good 'adult' night out on the town. The cast is amazingly talented - and well known to some of you.
The show is rated PG-13 - as it is a murder mystery and involves the causes of murder - greed, revenge, etc. The shows, however, are not inappropriate.
The details are:
October 30th at 8:pm
October 31st at 7:30pm
at Holy Joe's, 426 N. Roane Street, Harriman
Tickets are $20.00 per person and include show, dessert bar and beverages.

'Kilroy Was Here!' open Friday, March 27, 2009 with a crowded house. Audience members watched a great musical production set in World War II. And over a dozen Roane County high schoolers sang, danced, and acted in a high-energy tribute to all the patriots of 'the war to end all wars'.
These students have worked together since January - learning lines, choreography, lyrics - and teamwork. History lessons played a part as students had to understand an era before cell phones and lap tops.
Support our students as they take the stage - just as Roane County supports our students when they take the field.
Shows are:
at Holy Joe's, 426 N. Roane Street, Harriman
(Downtown Harriman)
March 28, April 3, & 4, 2009
Show begins at 7:30pm (doors open at 7:00pm)
Tickets: $7.00 / $5.00
For more information, please contact the Creative Arts Co-op at 765-1129. We hope to see you there!
