While there is a lot going on this weekend, I just wanted to remind everyone about the interactive murder mystery happening this weekend. 'Don't Get Blood on the Popcorn' is a fun and entertaining show that offers a good 'adult' night out on the town. The cast is amazingly talented - and well known to some of you.
The show is rated PG-13 - as it is a murder mystery and involves the causes of murder - greed, revenge, etc. The shows, however, are not inappropriate.
The details are:
October 30th at 8:pm
October 31st at 7:30pm
at Holy Joe's, 426 N. Roane Street, Harriman
Tickets are $20.00 per person and include show, dessert bar and beverages.

Not to divert attention from the current events, I just wanted to remind readers of the upcoming New Year's Eve events happening at Holy Joe's in downtown Harriman. The Creative Arts Co-op is hosting it 2nd annual Murder Mystery on December 31, 2008. And what a show it will be! With appetizers, dessert, live performance, and party favors - it is the real thing. And with an optional 'dinner and show' package with the Spot Cafe(prime rib, no less), the evening supports Roane County.
With a top notch cast that comes from the area (from Harriman to Knoxville), the show itself is a blast. And when the actors aren't on our stage, they are dazzling audiences at the Bijou Theatre, Shakepeare on the Square (Market Square, Knoxville), Cumberland County Playhouse, and even Nashville. The quality and showmanship of our cast equals - if not exceeds- any other show in east Tennessee. Any this is close to home.
There are still seats available. For more information please contact the Creative Arts Co-op at 765-1129.
Thank you and have a Happy New Year!
