"A United Way Family Fun Day will be held on May 30 from 11 AM to 4 PM at Roane State Community College. All ages are welcome; admission is free."

"Fun activities, including children's inflatables, face painting, a petting zoo, children's book giveaways, games, and the West Roane County Volunteer Fire Department (WRCVFD)-sponsored Live Burn Trailer Training, will take place throughout the day."

"Many local groups will be in attendance, including the Girl and Boy Scouts, Second Harvest Food Bank, CASA, Michael Dunn Center, the Salvation Army, West Roane VFD, and more."

The Live Burn Trailer Training is particularly exciting. West Roane VFD will also be giving out safety information, coloring pages for children, and quite a few free smoke alarms spread throughout the day.

"The event will be preceded by a 5k CASA run at 9 AM."

"Call Diana Knobloch at 882-7711 for more information."
