I'm involved in supporting the effort underway to restore the Princess Theater to its early glory, and to celebrate and further education of the arts in Roane and surrounding counties. If you have jpeg photo files of early scenes in and around Harriman, Kingston, Rockwood, Oliver Springs, or any of the cites in surrounding counties, old school photos, and of any of the old theaters (especially the Princess), please email them to me.
It is possible these photos will be used in events at the Princess, and/or on the Princess Theater Blog.
I can scan original shots and return them if necessary.
Please contact me at fuzzbert_1999 AT yahoo DOT com.
Thanks

Great to see this!
Hope people begin paying attention!
I'm tired of people complaining about what all has NOT been done with regard to the Princess, yet they have no idea about what HAS been done and what is being planned. The people involved have tried to make sure folks are aware, but many have not paid attention. I hope this will help!

REPLY TO ROANE BOOSTER
Thanks for the comment!
I attended the first class of the Media Production 1 class at Roane State tonight, which being taught by Heartland's Bill Landry. This class, combined with a film class starting next week, will be part of a big Princess promotion coming May 16th!
This is the first real joint project for the Princess Foundation and Roane State. Things will begin to happen now!
Stay tuned to the Princess blog, your local news, and look for mail fliers coming soon.
