Center Field Productions LLC and its newly-created theatre division, Three Rivers Theatre Company, have announced the nostalgic Princess Theatre in Harriman, Tennessee will serve as their new “home-field” for productions of live theatre, a radio variety show, and more.
Center Field Productions is owned by Roane County native Donnie Hall and his wife, Martha Wilkinson Hall stated moving the film production company to East Tennessee and expanding its range of interests was a literal a no-brainer.

Planning for the third annual Tennessee Pirate Fest is underway. This costumed family fun event will come to life for two weekends in mid-October at the Tennessee Medieval Faire site in Harriman--just 30 miles west of Turkey Creek. All are invited to escape to the fictional pirate town of Port Royale in the Tortugas, circa 1700-1800’s.

The Princess Theatre Foundation is hosting it's 5th Annual Multi-County Talent and Art Show at the Princess Theatre, on March 22, 2018 at 6 pm. The program will feature students in elementary through high school. Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their individual or group talent in vocal, instrumental, dance, drama, art, and literature categories.

Shiver Me Timbers! Tennessee Pirate Fest is on the Horizon!
The second annual Tennessee Pirate Fest is on the horizon. This regional daytime family-friendly costume-play event is being produced by Darkhorse Entertainment, LLC, and will be held at the Tennessee Medieval Faire site in Harriman--just 30 miles west of Turkey Creek. Patrons will feel transported to the fictional town of Port Royale in the Tortugas, circa 1700-1800’s.
The Pirate Fest will be held on October 7 & 8, from 11am-6pm ET--rain or shine. Ticket prices are $16 for ages 13+, $8 for ages 5-12, and will be free for ages 4 and under. Parking is free, and tickets may be purchased with cash or credit at the ticket house on show days. Patrons are encouraged to bring cash for their convenience.
The festival is located at 550 Fiske Road, Harriman, TN (about 1 mile Southeast of Hwy 27). Festival rules exclude sharp weapons or loaded guns (stage weapons must be sheathed and zip-tied), pets (service animals only), outside food or drinks, visibly intoxicated persons, and onsite patron camping. 1st Open Auditions for 2nd annual TN Pirate Fest! Festival will be held on Oct 7 & 8, 2017 from 11a-6p at the Medieval Faire site at 550 Fiske Rd, Harriman, TN.
Seeking 30 funny, friendly, talented adults (ages 18+) to perform in Royal Players Ensemble as interactive English and Pirate Characters. (Minors can audition with a participating adults and might be cast as interns.)
For auditions, be prepared with a short monologue, story or joke in character; a short song (any style), and any other talents you wish considered. Be prepared to fill out an audition form, participate in improv games, work with others, and take direction. Please bring a recent picture of yourself.

Opening Weekend For The Tennessee Medieval Faire Is A Hit!
I did not go to the Tennessee Medieval Faire until Sunday, but for a Mother's Day there was a large attendance. I don't know how it compared to Saturday, but I'm sure the opening day was much larger. I've posted a large number of photos on the Princess Blog to give you a sense of what you will see and experience at the faire. After all, you still have an opportunity to experience the fun next weekend, and the largest weekend, Memorial Day, is yet to come!
Don't miss "Hypnotized" performed by the Midway High School Drama Club!
"Hypnotized" written by Murray Austin, Directed by Courtney Minton, and performed by the Midway High School theatre class will be presented Friday (tonight) night at the Princess Theatre in Harriman, TN.
I was privileged to watch a full-dress rehearsal Thursday evening, and let my tell you, they have a HIT!
It's only $5 and the doors open at 7PM.
