I wish the venue would haven been at the Princess, but the powers that be decided it was best presented at the O'Brien Theatre on Roane State's campus. Regardless, Michael Golebiewski always produces great shows. It's also a great story with which to kick off off your Holiday Season.

It's only $7 at the door, so pick one of the 6 performances and go see it!

There are reasons...

... That the theatre at RSCC is more appropriate for a number of productions. Room is one factor. Workshop to build and load a stage is another (although that is greatly improved over the past at Princess). Lighting capabilities are a big issue. The Princess is simply not big enough, deep enough, and lit enough for some types of theatrical production. It is not a slam at the Princess - I support the Princess 200%. But putting the right shows in there is critical. One of the things that convinced RSCC folks to go for the whole enchilada with the Princess (as compared to several years ago) was that the two venues are complementary to each other, not in competition. The Princess isn't the answer to all performing venues. Each house has her own raisons d'etre and strengths.
