dear candidates,
I would like to open a forum for questions to b asked directly 2 u by voters who are seeking more knowledge. So here goes the 1st question:
candidate 4 circuit court clerk: Ms. Kim Nelson, attorney at law
I recently called ur office to speak with you about a matter that I needed help with. I was told that you have taken an extended leave of absence & that the office didn't know if &/or when you would be back.
my situation is, thankfully, not one that is in dire straights yet, but did you contact those of ur clients who are in extreme financial distres & tie up ur loose ends with them? I certainly didn't receive any notification or instructions from you in regard to who my new contact person would be or what steps I needed 2 take 2 continue seeking payment on my own.
I wonder if that is the same level of professionalism that you will run the clerks office with? Record keeping requires that you dot every "i" & cross every "t." if you left ur current position in disarray, how will the clerk's office look when you leave it?
