Today we are especially thankful for the fine employees of Rockwood Electric, who are working hard on this holiday to restore power in our area.

We are thankful also that the weather isn't too cold and that we have good food that can be eaten without warming.

And we are thankful that even as I am writing this, our power just came back on.

Happy Thanksgiving to all indeed! :)

Power outage

It must have been widespread because it hit us too. Came back on in about 20 minutes or so.

We were thinking about our situation and realized that we could cook our feast without electricity if necessary. Glad we don't have to.

Sure Thing

For utility employees no holiday or day off is a sure thing. They always seem to answer when called. That is one of the many things I am thankful for today and everyday.
