So the Ethics Board takes complaints, deliberates in secret, decides whether a complaint is or isn't valid, and buries the ones that it wants to?

Folks, most of us know the players in this comedy. We elected them...Several times. When an elected official lawyers up, it's a matter of interest, but please don't jump to any conclusions of guilt or whatever. It could just be a grudge match.

And then we have the little detail that the person the Ethics Board turns to for a review of things is himself (Our County Attorney) operating under a cloud or two... Well, as Gramma says, "It just don't look good."

I was hoping the Roane County News would put this one up on their web site but so far it's just old news. We'll keep checking.
