I finally was able to reach a TVA rep...(it went to his cellphone voicemail first....) regarding the issue with the lawn maint. at the home that TVA has relocated us to (a rental).

The original agreement was that TVA would have the company handling the rental to do maintanance and mow our lawn.

Well, as of today... there will be NO lawn mowing. TVA has "ran into this issue recently" and they are not doing any mowing.... (this was provided at my previous residence in Swan Pond and I don't own a lawn mower... anyone got some hungry goats?)

So, as the grass gets higher and higher I think it will be a jungle soon.

Maybe I'll just put up a sign in the yard with TVA's phone number... then my neighbors can call TVA to complain.

Even better... Put a sign

Even better... Put a sign out there that says "This yard is being mowed by The TVA Outreach Center"

:) Good Idea...

Could it be that the

Could it be that the landlord is receiving compensation from TVA to mow the yard and they are just not doing it?

If it ain't in writing, you may be out of luck.

If TVA signed the lease, I would think it would be in the agreement between TVA and the landlord as far as who will be responsible for the upkeep of the lawn. That might also apply if the lease is actually between the landlord and the residents who moved in, with TVA just compensating by making the rental payments for the family.
Just not enough official info to make a judgement.

That's beautiful!

answers....

ok...

Harrmanite:
The lease if between TVA & Owner (from out of state)
Owner not responsible for lawn.
That leaves the lessee(?) responsible = TVA

TVA not mowing....
that means either goats or sign goes up in yard....

DPA:
Corner Lot
No hills/nothing steep
Rider not pusher...

PS: No blasting here...
I do not consider that an "acceptable risk" (haha)

"No mowing zone" according to TVA
Call the Outreach Center with you complaints/concerns

Here's a real NEIGHBOR!

"I sent you a private message on this site and it contains my phone number. Contact me if you need me. Sat. & Sun. best for me (mowing not contacting)."

Good example! Kudos and thanks!

INSURANCE

I think if TVA ownes or leases the property they would have to approve anyone befor they could mow it. They would need to meet certian criteria.
