Well, you have an excuse
RB, I've read the danged directions several times...Still can't remember them.
;>)
No problem, RB. We can fix
No problem, RB. We can fix anything if we need to. Folks don't need to be shy about trying to post.
I think the Babahatchie Band deserves to be "promoted to the front page" so we'll just leave it where it is.
If you only want an event to show up over on the right in "Upcoming Events" you click "Publishing Options" near the bottom and you'll see what you need to click on to toggle off the front page posting.
I love bands!
I couldn't find those Publishing Options :(
I just tried to add the Kingston July 4th event to the Upcoming Events section without putting it on the front page too. Try as I might, I could not find those "Publishing Options" you mentioned. :(

Thanks for the pointers, WC
As with most things like this I try, I am afflicted with a chronic case of "fail to read the friggin instructions FIRST."
Based on the variety of pieces, and the difficulty some of them could entail, should be a good concert. I applaud them for taking on such a program!

Sorry if I caused confusion...
... or irritation by duplicating. I had never entered an event before, and didn't realize or remember that it created what looked like a blog entry as well. I just kinda wanted this to be an event on the event calendar on the right column, after entering a blog entry with the press release they gave me.
