Speaking of round
Today I found an very good tutorial: How to make a round thing without a lathe (plus model making tips)
You'll need free registration to see the larger images; alternatively, see a gorgeous completed Golden Compass.
When I see such lovely works, I once again wish Roane County were trying to lure the Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts (Arrowmont.org) as Knoxville is doing ((link...), (link...)). A Roane-based Arrowmont would be a revitalizing jewel. We need more art and artists visible here.

Hmmm...
When I looked at it in preview mode it looked like it does now, i.e. wrapped. I'm not sure what happened or if WC fixed the problem or what. I didn't see it failing to wrap. Sorry bout that!
