Howie is a little puffed up about this.
People want to know "are you making sure everybody is doing what they are supposed to over there?" And I tell them, I say, "I don't have to make sure."
So far, I have looked at everybodies data and it's all useful, with each being a piece of the puzzle. Coal

This is what Emergency Management people have wet dreams about. He is as well intentioned as anybody in the government, but he needs to be a little less vocal about the competence of the system....that can come back to bite him.
Howie is doing a fine job.
Howie is doing a fine job. He is asking and receiving cooperation from TVA, then he has the likes of Toni McGriff using bottled water in the schools. What does that say about Roane County?
I think you misread what McGriff was saying
i read the statement to say that bottled water would be available, and that parents could send bottled water with their children if they wanted to. A very reasonable and prudent statement to my thinking. Some folks just won't trust the water no matter how much Troy drinks.
Don't think so...she stated
Don't think so...she stated that food would be prepared with bottled water.
You're right, Chelsea...
... She actually said BOTH. It is already NORMAL at the school system for bottled water to be available for purchase by students, and it is already normal for students to be allowed to bring bottled water with them. What is a deviation from the norm is the issue of preparing food that must be prepared with water using bottled water instead of water from piped system.
She mentioned all 3 issues in her release.

Sounds Like a Good....
Sounds like a good idea to me. I won't be drinking the public water and my kids won't either. Its only been less than 2 weeks since the spill. Perhaps people need to get out and see this stuff floating in the lake. Its everywhere and what you don't see is being solulized into the water. I can't fathom that folks are having a hard time understanding this bottled water concept.
wont they be
wont they be arrested.im with you i would like you to knoe thier r ways to pull clean samples
What's FLOATING on the water
is cenospheres. And they are chemically/biologically inert. And they are not soluble.

I want to know more about
I want to know more about the cenospheres. The stuff on the lake is grey. pure cenospheres are white. We processed several truckloads of them into kayaks over the years. Paid good money at the time.
