It seems funny to me that Meadowlake Airpark thinks they have won a certain battle concerning rights to the runway at Riley Creek.
If you think about it they have rights to a runway owned by ONE individual on HIS private property, Fine. With time though, they will have access to a pot hole filled, weed entangled, gravel strip.
As with any privately owned airstrip, no matter who you go crying to or who you put on the stand you are at the mercy of ONE individual owner. Look it up at AOPA.
If you choose to patch the runway without permission you can be held accountable for unauthorized repairs to private property. Does the ONE owner care about the strip? NO!
Get over it you everyone loses. Except the ONE.
