From 1998 to 2007, TN had 244 convicted elected officials making it the 13th "most corrupt" state in the US. Florida is number one with a whopping 844. For those interested, Illinois is number 7 with 502. Per capita by the million, TN drops to 18th.

Is there a way that Roane county could "encourage" the local cable company to provide their cable modem service in rural areas? Currently if you don't live in the suburbs there is seemingly no hope.
