Who is it that the writer referes to when she says the "State of Tennessee" doesn't believe our geology is complex enough to warrant the standard API precautions? Is it TDEC? or someone else?
I saw a fictional program (CSI) that illustrated some problems with fracking in their neck of the woods, and it can be scarey.

Renee is talking about TDEC. TDEC answers to the Governor who appoints everybody. Haslam ran on neutering TDEC and it appears he has. I am no longer on the Conservation Commission because it was done away with as part of the Governor's legislative agenda. That's a pretty clear signal in my book.
