Hurley Lies Again

There is a history of Hurley lies. Let's get the RECORD STRAIGHT on Calfee.

"Today is a sad day. For weeks my primary opponent has been launching one personal attack after another. These are just flat out lies. She has said I donated $1,000 to Al Gore… False. She said I supported Obama…. False. She said I raised taxes over 300% … False. She has even followed myself, my family and supporters around taking photos of us speaking with fellow candidates; recently posting a photo of me on her personal face book page! Now we have heard that my primary opponent is getting ready to launch vicious, personal attack ads against me in the next few days. You want to campaign on facts and real life issues, that’s fine. But there is no place in the Republican Primary for sophomoric antics and this type of campaigning. It is a shame that some people will do what ever it takes to hold on to power. Tennessee deserves better than that!"

Rep Hurley, you have lied one too many times!

Blame yourself for your actions and the lack of supporters; don't make up stuff about your opponent. Integrity is First!

Where is your proof Miss Hurley? You have none. This is your campaign tactic; to take the focus off of your lack of leadership for the district in hopes of salvaging your seat in the State Legislature. You want to sling mud, making things up as you go.

I spent time with Kent Calfee this past Wednesday. Everyone he talked with was conversation about issues. He would not allow them to talk about you personally. He actually listens to people. And, he tells them what he will do differently when he is elected.

Kent and his wife are wonderful people. And there is something about him that you do not have, Miss Hurley. He has ideas. He is not someone who wishes to use the Representative seat as a profession. So you go ahead and continue telling your lies, and slinging the mud. People are tired of those type of politics. You have no ideas. You take orders from the ones that you told me you wouldn't take orders from. You promised me that you would not fall in line with the good ole boys. Sadly, that is exactly what you did. And if you break a simple promise such as that, you will continue to break promises and try to say what you THINK the people want to hear.

Amy, it will get better come about October. Then we will have a true debate between parties.

It is kind of funny yet passion is likely the cause.

There is no passion in this race! This is gloves off black your eyes and take your teeth too! I believe we need to be this passionate in council and commission elections. Believe it or not they tax you more than the federal goverment and have more pork in their budgets that wamplers farm has pigs!

Freudian slip

I am on the fence between these two, but Calfee's Freudian slip about the "liberal" cause at of all things a TEA party forum really made me wonder. Of course this site wants Mr. Calfee to win the primary for one of two reasons 1) hope he will not stand a chance against Mr. McNew 2) They wouldn't vote for him (or Rep. Hurley) in the general election if Hades froze over.
Rehash of old stories is all we get.

How can some people be undecided on one site, but have a yard sign and give total support on another site? It is ok to vote for Miss Hurley or any other candidate, but do not be ashamed to admit it... -Brian

Well,I am still undecided and don't have a yard sign and don't usually post politically on any other site. So, I'll jump one way or the other on August 2.
