Finally the stories on the driving trail that wanders through Roane County have the link to where the trail actually is. My first reaction to the web site is that it is unnecessarily tedious to get information but there's a ton of it. This is essentially a busy brochure posted as a PDF without much thought to making it a web based application.

I suggest downloading the PDF and sorting through things from there. I like the idea but I wonder why Live and Let Live Drug Store deserves a spot and Roosevelt Mountain does not? At first look this effort seems like a chamber fluff that uses tax money to advertize for the businesses who will pay up to be featured. The beef tips at Red Bones are not exactly one of the points of interest in my book.
