I am not sure exactly how to proceed after viewing the anarchist and libertarian impulses that seemed to be at play when we tried to line the people up to submit entries. While I might be looked upon as an authoritarian control freak, let me remind you that most of you readily support and agree on all the College Football Rules and Regulations! :>) The point of College Football Rules is to better determine how to pick a winner! And that was the point with the bumper sticker entry rules; to facilitate picking a couple of winning entries. :>)

The point of the bumper sticker is twofold: 1.)to remind the community that time has not made the TVA ash disaster any less damaging to the communities affected, and 2.) to provide a consistent (depends on the number of bumpers involved) consensual community statement about mistreatment at the hands of TVA.

Because I believe in some sort of "a process" to facilitate the accomplishment of common community goals, the people who entered the official bumper sticker entry site and registered as per simple instructions, are the only entries that will be included in the official vote.

If there are problems with this next step, now is the time to air them out before we proceed.

Whatever you decide on bumper stickers is fine for me. :)

I haven't seen any anarchists around though.

One Tahiti,

I believe the term I used was "anarchist impulses," the kind of non-conformist behavior that have people running red lights and stop signs, which makes them a threat to society, but does not actually makes them an anarchist. :>)
The Houston brothers may be the closest we come to home-grown anarchists, but I don't think they will be involved in voting on our anti-TVA bumper sticker.

I never had the pleasure of the Houston brothers' acquaintance. From the news accounts, though, they sound more like folks who want government that is not corrupt, rather than like folks who don't want any government at all. This is of course pure conjecture on my part. Too bad they don't post here. :)

When it has been decided

Just let me know how may we want, and a price range for having them printed. May I suggest a good quality, that is easily removed. The funds are 99% set to go. I just have to make a phone call.
