The Creative Arts Co-op continues its summer activities with its 10th Annual Creative Junction Summer Camp series. Programs include students from Pre-K through 12th grade. Half-day and full-day camps are scheduled for June and July.

The Princess Dream is to make the Princess a unique educational tool that will prepare students who are interested in stage, sound, film, television, radio...all of the "media/theatre arts". The Princess, and the Channel 15 studio, will be a hands-on tool students can use as they do class study.

The Creative Arts Co-op announces its annual Spring Break Art Camp for 1st through 7th graders. The day camp offers students a chance to get creative -and sometimes messy- while exploring the arts. The cost is $85.00 per student and includes all materials and snacks.

The Creative Arts Co-op is excited to announce the opening of its new home. The Creative Arts Co-op Visual and Performing Arts Center is located at 426 Ruritan Road, Harriman. The larger facility offers more space for our theatrical productions, camps, and classes as well as our soon-to-be famous murder mysteries. There will be an official grand opening later this month (once the paint dries), so we will keep everyone posted. And we hope to see you there!

Destiny Carter, a Rockwood fifth-grader, has won the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation's poster contest. Her entry will go on to compete at the national level in the Department of Justice-sponsored event. See: Link...

East Tennessee artist Shannan Greenhouse has donated a custom postcard design for use by the West Roane County Volunteer Fire Department.

The Creative Arts Co-op will be hosting its annual 'Open House' on Friday, August 22, 2008 from 4:00-6:00pm. The yearly event always coincides with the beginning of school. "Our fall schedule begins in September in order to give families time to adjust to the new school year and decide if after school classes are right at this time," commented Mary Kaye Eisenberg. "I look forward to meeting students and parents interested in our programs. During the open house we will have videos of past performance programs and a display of past art projects to give everyone an idea of what we have to offer."
