How about going to see a very entertaining stage play at Roane State!

The Roane State Playmakers will perform the comedic farce “Noises Off” in the O’Brien theatre on Roane State's Roane County campus in Harriman.

Remaining performances are scheduled Feb. 26 at 7 p.m. and Feb 27 at 2 p.m.

Written by Michael Frayn, “Noises Off” has been called one of the funniest farces ever written. The play presents a manic menagerie as a cast of itinerant actors rehearses a flop called “Nothing’s On.” Doors slamming, onstage and backstage intrigue, and an errant herring all figure into the plot of this hilarious and classically comic play.

General admission is $10, and student admission and admission for seniors is $7.

My wife and I saw the production Thursday evening and found it to be a comedy riot! People running all around the stage and sometimes the action even overflows into the audience. There's even a pretty young lady in her underwear! There was also some delicious desserts available at intermission too! What more could you ask for in an evening out!?
