Surveyors will be on TVA purchased property behind Lakewood Lane, near I-40, Wednesday through Friday. Over the next few years, TVA will have a substantial need for soil to use in various non-recovery related projects at the Kingston Fossil Plant. The surveyors will be identifying locations for soil testing, to determine if the property could serve as a potential soil borrow site. Test borings to collect soil from the staked locations could begin as early as November.
