Convicted of Federal Tax Evasion, Still sitting on Rockwood Water, Sewer, and Gas Board

Mayor Watts has called for Lee to resign but no action yet. I'm surprised there isn't a city rule/reg/law that would cover this and automatically remove members upon conviction.

William Edward “Eddie” Lee entered a guilty plea to three counts of sales tax evasion for each of his three businesses: Big E’s Quick Mart, Go-Mart in Harriman, and Big E’s Tobacco Outlet in Kingston for the period between January 2006 and December 2008.

Well, it stinks, and what is worse we know of other people that have done worse and gotten off the hook.
That is why people need to speak to their elected officials and know what they stand for and who supports them financially.
