Wandering through the campground at Hippie Jack's Farm last May, we walked past a bandana with a pair of blue eyes wrapped in experience, and punctuated with one of those smiles. Steve meet Maggie. Sitting there in a camp chair she offered us a beer, played us a song and hooked us forever into the Maggie Longmire fan club. I didn't know at the time that Maggie is a Tennessee icon. Most people's first sight of Maggie is from a distant seat at a packed music venue with her rock band, The Lonesome Coyotes. The more I learn about her the more I realize what an amazing honor it was to sit and listen to a Maggie Longmire performance up close and personal. After some pestering on our part, Maggie is bringing her amazing voice and song to Market Street Fountain this Friday night and you can get a chance to soak in the aura of one of our musical icons.

Go listen to a few of her songs and get blown away. Then clear your schedule and come see Maggie Friday night.
