We can thank whoever had the good sense to hire Lee Maines as project director. Now we have to do the same thing with the million dollars Lee saved on the project.

Hope some money is there for the road(s) around the new Dyllis Springs school. The roads around the school are not designed for the car and bus traffic it is now seeing. They actually need to widened. Plus in my opinion the push for bigger schools is not the right direction, but BOE isn't interested in that thought.
I hope they use the extra $1 million for much-needed quality, high-interest books for our classrooms.

I think the money is tied to TVA capital interests, but that would be a wonderful thing to do with it. Will our elected officials step up and ask?
