Stunning Hypocrisy

I am amazed that we allowed the Roane Alliance to take the beer tax away from our schools and use it for their own purposes. But, knowing they are taking $600,000 or so a year away from our schools, they complain that the people of Roane County aren't donating enough to the school supply fund.

I would really like to see the County Commission grow some intestinal fortitude and correct this travesty.

Roane Alliance financials?

I would love to see a detailed financial statement for the Roane Alliance. Even an IRS form 990 would suffice. Does anyone know how to see their financials?

I have asked this before and have yet to receive an answer. :(

There are several elected officials that read RoaneViews. Perhaps one of them would obtain and share the financials from the Roane Alliance.
