Last Night at Market Street

Submitted by WhitesCreek on July 28, 2012 - 11:21am.

Sam Lewis in a small room is the stuff of Americana music lover dreams. He'll be back soon, but if you missed the show, well, you missed a great one. I can post some pix but I can't give you the music.

Karen Reynolds is next on Friday August 10.
(We'll take Friday Aug 3 off to go see the K-Town Americana show at the Palace Theater in Crossville, with Jay Clark, the Knaughty Knots, R B Morris, and Jeff Barbra and Sarah Pirkle.)

His lyrics were moving, I felt I was living his experiences. No one wanted it to end. And he hits his notes without reaching. He is a true artist. Everyone there was lucky to see him. I have his cd now to remind me of a lovely evening.

I agree!

My wife and I were among the lucky ones to hear this superb artist Friday night at Market Street Fountain. In some of the reviews and interviews of Sam Lewis, that I've read online, Sam modestly considers himself, first and foremost, a songwriter. He's a gifted storyteller. But Sam's also a first-rate guitarist with vocal chops to match. His new CD is great!
