Haslam Under Attack for Refusing to Sign Bat-bleep Crazy Legislation

Submitted by WhitesCreek on July 17, 2012 - 8:20am.

How does a rational human being think clean air, clean water, and sustainable agricultural practices are an evil leftist plot? I guess I could have stopped at "rational" because there's the answer. Haslam is under fire from the Tea Party county chairmen that helped him cruise to the governorship because he hired a muslim woman, has openly gay staffers, and refused to sign the abominable Agenda 21 resolution. I'm giving him fire for not having the tiny bit of courage it would have taken to veto it.

Daily Buzz has all that and more:

Well, I understand where you're coming from, WC

I guess personally I'd prefer to err on the side of reinforcing his (Haslam's) positive behavior when/as it happens, but I see what you're saying.

To me a real travesty is the rape, pillage, and plunder of the Republican party by the Tea Party folks who seem to miss no opportunity to verify themselves as knuckle-dragging mouth-breathers. I know from eye-witness accounts that is what has happened to the Republican Party in Roane, and I'm sure Roane is not unique.

Imagine how miffed you'd be is extremists that don't at all represent you took over the Democratic Party and caused all that level of hate to be directed at the REAL Democrats.

Actually, I don't understand

Actually, I don't understand how a moral person can be a Republican in the first place, so it's hard for me to put myself in your situation. I did watch as the Blue Dog Dems took over the Democratic Party in a move to become R-Lite. Since the Blue Dogs were the most endangered species in Congress last election, we see how well that worked out for them.

Moral Person is a Republican

Come on, now. REally? I am a very moral person and I am a republican. Please, really?

Fiscally conservative / Environmentally Engaged

Yes, I am fiscally conservative yet I strongly believe in our one earth and let's protect it. And, I am a republican.
