Hurley Loses Own Campaign Web Site For Not Paying the Bill?

How incompetent do you have to be to lose your own web domain?

The KNS says www.HurleyforHouse.com goes to Kent Calfee's web site. It doesn't but it clearly goes to an opposition web site. (Update: It does now) Hurley blames Calfee, of course, but anybody who has ever registered a web domain knows that all you have to do is pay your bill. The registration services actually pester the heck out of you before and even after the registration expires to pay up and keep the domain. Hurley responds with a tantrum as per the usual.

And guess who else lost control of their web domain, and I'm sure it's the fault of those dastardly forces of evil who redirected Teresa Kirkham's former domain to a series of news articles that aren't exactly flattering...

www.TeresaKirkham.com

Interesting question

Is Rep Hurley the one responsible for the loss of the domain? Since she is the officeholder is she ultimately responsible for it? If the answer is yes, then wouldn't that make Russ Johnson ultimately responsible for his employee using an office computer to register a domain name for candidate Ferguson.
Just trying to figure out how the assigning of blame for various people is determined.

WhitesCreek's picture
Russ Johnson has never

Russ Johnson has never blamed anyone but did take managerial action commensurate with the need. The employee responsible took a pretty heavy hit, losing several days pay and six months of accrued retirement.

Hurley blames everyone else and seems to think there is something wrong with an opposition web site. I see nothing at Calfee's site on par with the disgusting opposition site Ken Yager's campaign was responsible for.

good point

Good point, and I actually agree with you..scary isn't it?
