Surprise! Hurley Goes After Calfee With Personal Attacks.

Seems like several of our candidates want anything said about them to be labeled "mudslinging" and anything said about the other guy is just "aggressive campaigning". Get your knee boots on, folks!

Of course, it is time to attack someone personally, but whine and complain about a sign and threatened people. Of course, it is time to try and tie an opponent to someone else running in another race, but has she looked down the ticket at the other candidates with the R's by their name? I think every candidate should stand own their own and through debates, speeches, and real interaction we can see where they all stand.. Other than Kent, is their anyone else the Roane County Republican party has presented us with that hasn't been on the cover of the Roane County News with legal and/or attitude problems? -Brian

Electing Kent Calfee is tantamount to making Teresa Kirkham state rep. Must we endure Kirkham (effectively) in yet another position of power?
At one point Teresa was telling folks she was running for state rep. I don't get Calfee as her surrogate at all.
My assessment of the Kirkham-Calfee dynamic is the same as the Kirkham-Austin and Kirkham-Humphrey dynamics.
