Senator Ken Yager, Fan of “Friends of Coal” on Facebook

Submitted by WhitesCreek on March 19, 2010 - 12:56pm.

Yager is a solid NO vote on the bill to ban Mountaintop removal, a process that is destroying Tennessee's scenic vistas ans polluting streams and clean water supplies in East Tennessee.

Thank you for standing up for Roane County, Ken...NOT!

More on the Bill as it stands in Committee

I am registered Republican

However, I will not vote for Senator Yager when he comes up for re-election. He, in my opinion has not represented those who voted him into office. He is in the pockets of the coal companies, land developers, and anyone else that will donate to his campaign war chest. His support of the selenium bill showed me his true colors. He would not even tell us who was pushing the bill until he was cornered after a town meeting. After that, he was unavailable to speak to nyone else. He exited "stage left".

Oh My Gosh! "Mine Your Own Business???"

I just checked. Yes, Ken is a member of a Facebook group called Friends of Coal Tennessee. The group's website is:

Link...

I kid you not, they will be screening the movie "Mine Your Own Business"

Link...

at their first event April 7 in Nashville. The movie's write-up says it "looks at the dark side of environmentalism".

This is just ugly on so many levels.

They should come here to get some clips for their movie showing the "bright side of the coal industry".

What is Ken thinking?

Outrageous, please get the proof now

This is absolutely outrageous and an insult to the people. Why in the world would Ken support this? Is the Roane County News aware of this hypocrisy?

Please push the Print Screen button above your key pad on that FB Page to capture the proof. You better get the proof now before Ken deletes it.

Ellis deleted his membership to the FB Roane County Tea Party after it was discussed on this website. Ellis then had the gall to deny it and cover it up when he knew the truth. Reminiscent of the quote "I did not have sexual relations with that woman". That blue dress will show up when least expected.

I seriously urge you to please get the proof right now by pushing the Print Screen button before Ken tries the same trick.

Ken Yager's Friends of Coal FB membership

grasshopper

grasshopper, I went ahead and pushed the Print Screen before Ken got the idea from my post to delete it.
