The electric bill is going up again in April

The Tennessee Valley Authority has announced an increase in its fuel adjustment charge. The utility said the hike will raise residential power bills between $3 and $6.50 per month, depending on how much electricity is used.

And it won't be the last.

TVA's plan is to raise rates for the next 15 years to pay for a disaster that was their fault. On top of that, they are not going to clean it all up. There is approximately 600,000 cubic yards that has migirated into the Tennesse and Clinch River system. Their plan for that is to "study" it. The EPA and TVA wants to "study" just how long it will take mother nature and more flooding to wash it on down the river. This is unacceptable to me. It should be unacceptable to everyone.
