The reported death of the democratic party in Tennessee and the US at large may be greatly exaggerated! Actually it seems more republicans are leaving or retiring than are dems. Either way, it might not matter much if these candidate slots on both sides are filled with even more corporatists who will continue to protect the interests of bankers, insurance companies, and environmental polluters.
