“Winter Solstice Stargaze Celebration with Poetry and Music”
at Tamke-Allan Observatory

Tamke-Allan Observatory of Roane State Community College will offer a Winter Solstice Stargaze Celebration with Poetry and Music on Saturday Dec. 19, beginning at 1930 h (7:30 PM). Everyone is invited to bring an original or favorite poem/song to perform. Poems and songs should be about the solstice or about enjoying dark and starry skies. Bring food to share, red light flashlights, telescopes and binoculars.
