Finally, the court got it right, even though it took too long. I hope the animals are removed immediately so none can be hidden, only to suffer further.

New Tennessee law takes aim at puppy mills

It appears these sad cases have inspired this new law effective today.

"It's taken all of these very seedy, underground puppy mills all over the state, and it's going to force them to clean up their act, to take better care of their animals, to be responsible to their consumers, and to act as a legitimate business," McCollum said.
