Can we have a little courage here?Submitted by WhitesCreek on October 24, 2007 - 6:15am.
"Present?" Democratic Congressman Stark faced a censure vote for daring to speak out against President Bush's veto of insurance coverage for children while asking for $192 BILLION dollars for a war that's going nowhere and draining this country. Roane County's Congressman Lincoln Davis voted...present. Way to stand up for America, Lincoln. Come on, Brother. We've had enough of this disasterous war. We need you to stand up and show some fortitude. If you don't have what it takes to deal with a war for lies, could you at least realize that providing basic health insurance for children will save this country a fair bit of tax money down the road?
