I just received a phone call from another local resident wanting to know what folks can do to help the displaced families of Swan Pond. I didn't know what to tell her :( but thought maybe someone else here would know. Please, does anyone have information on this?

Topics:

I don't know about later... but for now...

... they're all housed and being cared for by TVA. Depending on how cleanup goes, they may need community help at their houses later. But TVA may handle that as well. They're not homeless (yes thair homes are unavailable and at least one was destroyed)... by homeless I mean without shelter and food. But they may have other needs in coming weeks that the community may be able to help them with. That would be grand.

If I personally hear of things the community can help with, I'll slide it in here some way :-)

Thanks, RB!

Thanks for keeping this in mind! :)
